Dust Sampling

Concrete dust sampling is undertaken using a rotary percussive drill with the concrete dust samples being collected in sample bags. Dust sampling undertaken when the finishes have been removed and can be used to determine the chloride, sulphate, cement content etc of the concrete. Alternatively small diameter concrete core samples can be extracted.
 

Ideally samples should be taken from representative members and this will depend on the type and complexity of the structure (eg beams, walls, slabs, columns etc)
